So I decided to make a list of every skill I can think of and see if, and how it works vs Banshee's Veil, Sivir's Spell Shield, Nocturne's Shroud of Darkness and indirectly Morgana's Black Shield.
This should be useful for everyone - for players so they'll know what they can and can't block, for others so they know what to expect when fighting someone with a spell shield and what to use to pop it, and finally for the Devs, since they can tweak the spells and fix the bugs. Skills that can't be used or have no effect on enemy champions have been omitted. (P) means Passive. (U) means Ultimate. SS - short for Spell Shield. I'd like to thank my friends that helped me test: Athllon, arcian, Czerkan, DarkTomek, Fre4ko, Gofrownica, Greyrir Wolfwood, Haldir Aros, Ivan Luthien, Ivellos, kWASu, Muotek, NekroJakub, norch, Rychlin, sedzia87, Szerg, Wladyslaw. And to the people that did some tests for me: SBMaster86 (Rumble), JustinBlade (Orianna, Sejuani) If there's anything that works differently then what I wrote, or you find it confusing, PLEASE comment about it. Bugs get introduced and fixed all the time, and it's impossible for me to test every champion every time the game gets patched. Latest Update: Draven patch Current bugs: * Karthus's Wall of Pain - Slows, does not break Spell Shields. (Last tested: Varus patch) * Orianna's Command: Attack - Breaks Spell Shields in the cast location. Damage is when the ball passes through. (Last tested: Varus patch) * Volibear's Rolling Thunder - Damage not blocked. (Last tested: Varus patch) * Volibear's Thunder Claws - All damage blocked, even autoattack damage. (Last tested: Varus patch) * Hecarim's Devastating Charge - Not blocked. BUGGED I say. (Last tested: Varus patch) * Hecarim's Onslaught of Shadows - BUGGED to hell. Spell shield is destroyed at the time of casting, much like Orianna's Q. Even if it's not broken, best case scenario you'll block half the damage. You'll always get terrified and take some damage. (Last tested: Varus patch) (Re)tests needed: * Expand Baron Nashor's section. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Though I only main Dual Blades, so I'm not entirely sure if this applies to other weapons. I think the bigger stronger weapons usually work best with pure raw damage as well. With big, slow weapons, you generally ignore element. You can add it in if you want, but because you're doing fewer hits, the elemental damage ends up being relatively. Mar 09, 2018 MHW: Early and End-Game Builds For Greatswords, Hammer, Longswords, Charge Blade, and Switch Axe. Hammer - Long Sword. But they also come with a few downsides. These weapons perform best when the target is stationary, so if the monster moves frequently and/or the wielder is constantly disrupted, it'll dish out less DPS compared to the. Weakness exploit + attack up are the best general damage skills. Some handicraft is useful if you're using a hammer which gains white sharpness with enough of it. From what I've heard even though Slugger seems like it's designed for hammer it isn't that good.
My AR, the highest I have seen I think was something like 150k. And all of this with a Demolitionist build. So no +rifle or +AR damage. IMO, I don't think there is any other build that compares with Berserk / Strained in terms of DPS, although you need to have very good passives and talents to make it. Headshots will be slightly lower damage, but we aren’t running an AR build for headshot damage. Build Explanation: The build works by getting in cover and throwing the seekers into the enemies, then dropping 1 charge of the chem launcher for the bonus 25% damage. You will only actively do this at the start of fights or when in harder content. Mar 19, 2019 In this Division 2 guide we’ll showcase the best Assault Rifle DPS Build Loadout which is viable for any content in the game.
